A phone by the name of the Oppo Reno3 Pro was launched back in December but seems familiar only in the Chinese domestic market. A month later, the handset is finally making its way into international markets, but surprisingly, in a slightly different package. To say this is a completely different phone would be an overstatement, as there are only a few differences in features but they are important for making the end-user experience significantly different.
For one, the global version of the Reno 3 Pro keeps things simple with a flat display instead of curved like the Chinese siblings, but adds a second camera on the front. The shift to a flat display may be considered a plus for many, but the extra hole for a second camera seems a bit hampered. Still, the new phone’s AMOLED display is excellent, making it one of the main selling points of the phone.
